Chainmaille is an ancient art that began with the weaving of metal armour for warriors.  Now that maille armour is no longer common wear, chainmaille has been taken to new levels of elegance through unique jewelry designs.

These earrings are made from sterling silver wire that has been hand wound and cut. These rings are then carefully interwoven to create a classic chainmaille (chainmail) design that is larger looking while still being an “airy” pattern.  These darlings measure 1 ¼” (3 ½ cm) from the bottom of the sterling silver ear wire. They measure about 1 cm across.
